En co-patrocinio con el Hakomi Institute of California, en Octubre de 2019 iniciaremos la FormaciĆ³n Profesional en el mĆ©todo Hakomi of Somatic Psychotherapy based on mindfulness - Level 1, aimed at mental health professionals and integral therapists.

ā€‹

This training will offer an in-depth study of Hakomi's principles and practices, as well as the unique intervention and treatment strategies of the method, based on the precision and subtlety of work with mindfulness, moment to moment, as well as the integration of work with the body in psychodynamic psychotherapy.

ā€‹

Additionally, Hakomi is dedicated to enhancing the vital energy of both the client and the therapist, so this training will emphasize in the nature of the therapeutic relationship, under the lens of attachment theory,_cc781905- 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_y in the being of the therapist.

ā€‹

The training will consist of 105 hours of training, distributed in 3 face-to-face modules of 4 days each (30 hours), with supervised practice spaces between modules, webinars and meetings virtual.

What will you learn in this training?

In this training you will learn to:

ā€‹

  • Offer deep psychotherapy, using the experience of the present moment as a gateway to the unconscious material. ā€‹

  • Design and use interventions to access and transform the central models of the client, related to himself, others and the world.

  • Trace the non-verbal communication of the unconscious.

  • Apply experiential methodologies,  focused on mindfulness, to support the sense of security, self-regulation and relational skills. _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b_1358bad

  • Employ somatic techniques to access unconscious material that is not accessible through verbal communication alone.

  • Support psycho-emotional resistances and defenses, instead of opposing them.

  • Help clients to experience and process regression states, to solve old problems and behaviors.

  • Recognize and direct the psychological patterns of clients, using the Hakomi Character Map.

ā€‹

Six skills that you will develop in training

Strengthen the therapeutic relationship
How to access the cerebral limbic connection with the consultant to open the way to the deployment of unconscious material.

How to use interventions moment to moment to care for and heal the wounds of attachment.

observe the unconscious
How to notice the functioning of the unconscious in the present experience and in non-verbal signals.

How to use the present moment and the body to build the limbic connection and thus reveal powerful sources of psychological information.

deepen therapy
How to reach depth in the exploration, and add vitality to the therapy.

Practical methods to explore the depth of the psyche.

Powerful interventions to work safely with thoughts, sensations, impulses, emotions and memories, and to explore their origin.

Using mindfulness psychodynamically
How to use mindfulness-focused experiments to allow unconscious material to surface that is not easily accessible through conversation

Differentiate between problems derived from traumatic or developmental issues.

Support defenses and transform core beliefs

How to elegantly work with resistances and defenses to support them, rather than attack them.

Transform core beliefs and mental models of relationship with oneself, with others and with the world.

Work with the systems of transferencia and counter-transferencia
Practical and effective approaches to work  experiencing transference/countertransference activations, to access the heart of the client's psyche.
